Alison Gotts, Principal Teacher, Tropical North Queensland Institute of TAFE

Alison Gotts has been working in flexible learning and associated professional development, since the late 1980s. In this interview Alison reflects on her considerable experience in the field and expands on her current action learning approach to training would-be online designers/facilitators. She reflects on professional development in the context of the last ten years of flexible learning innovation in the vocational education sector in Australia and describes the Diploma in Elearning being offered at TNQIT, in which participants learn to design, develop, deliver and manage e-learning by doing it. The Diploma in Elearning articulates into the Masters in Learning Management, offering 2 units (of 6) advanced standing.
