Dr Allan Palmer is an anaesthetist in private practice, but also a web master http://www.palmer.net.au with a penchant for internet delivered education. He developed web based medical education service for rural and remote doctors at www.cme.net.au. allan@palmer.net.au

Megan's inspired article is a refreshing insight into the possibilities for using information and communication technologies to provide individualised direct instruction in real time to young children. She describes highly motivated students, higher levels of cognitive function, enhanced memorisation of new concepts and an increase in attention span. If you would like a live presentation, please contact Megan to arrange a date and time, or discuss it with her in the Australian Flexible Learning Community General Forum. You'll need to become a member to contribute to the discussion.
