Jenni Harding is Head Teacher, Business Services at Sutherland College of

TAFENSW. She has been facilitating e-learning for the past five years including the Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training, the Human Resources Diploma and the Introduction to Teaching Online. She has also been developing learning materials for the ANTA Human Resources Management Diploma Toolbox.

In this article, Jenni introduces the concept of Centres for Learning and Teaching (COLT) - environments where 'where teachers will also be learners and teachers of other teachers' and reflects on the potential benefits of such a Centre for her own Registered Training Organisation (RTO). She focuses on the need to embrace change and support change management through strategies and skilled leaders who will enable the RTO to respond effectively in our changing VET environment.

Jenni works with the Sutherland TAFE College in Sydney. Her Flexible Learning Leaders project focused on how to encourage and support teachers in taking up blended learning options.
