Maureen Sullivan is a librarian by profession, currently working as a Research Officer in the Research and Innovation Unit of Brisbane North Institute of TAFE. She is researching knowledge management as a tool for sustainable flexible delivery in VET. Maureen uses her unique skill set to investigate and bridge the various knowledge domains needed to bring knowledge management theory into TAFE practice.

This paper examines an approach to dealing with organisational turbulence using knowledge management theory, principles and practice to build responsiveness, robustness and innovation in a Technical and Further Education Institute (TAFE) Institute.
